What to Expect During Your Appointment
A camera is connected to a screen as a visual aid. You are then able to see how much wax, if any, is in your ears. We talk through ear anatomy and general ear care. These before and after photos are included as part of your appointment cost, and will be sent to you after your appointment.
Microsuction is a pain-less process and the safest method to use if you have a perforation or middle ear conditions.
Cerumen is the medical term for ear wax. It is completely normal to have some wax in your ears as it can trap dust and dirt and has bacteriostatic properties. Ear wax usually breaks down without you noticing and works its way out of your canals. My fees are structured as a fixed, all-inclusive clinical rate per visit. This ensures a comprehensive standard of care that includes a clinical assessment of both ears, microsuction treatment, and high-definition before-and-after imaging for your records and peace of mind.
Note on Pricing:
The fee remains the same whether one or both ears require treatment. This covers the clinical setup, travel, and the necessary assessment.
